9th January 2012: Vacancy for Business Development Manager

Clayfield Construction Limited is a long established, forward thinking company, based in Doncaster looking to establish new avenues of business in the future.

We are therefore seeking to add a Business Development Manager as part of an ambitious expansion plan. Based across all sectors of the industry, the role will encompass the following duties:

• To deliver sales growth in new sectors with new and existing accounts. The focus will be on new accounts
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure a thorough understanding and appreciation of the clients needs in order to deliver an excellent service and develop long term relationships
• Raise the profile of the organisation through a targeted key account management approach, attending conferences, launches and exhibitions
• Understand the needs of our clients side - using construction knowledge in order to offer innovative solutions

The ideal candidate should have demonstrable sales experience in relevant construction sectors. The selected candidate will also have a strong affinity with construction - be it somebody who began their career in a technical discipline or somebody who has studied construction and has evolved into a sales function. As part of the overall culture within the team, the successful candidate will be results driven and have the aptitude to provide practical and innovate solutions.
